Gallery and Function Rooms
Dante's has a range of function rooms available for hire. Upstairs they include the 'dining room', 'lounge bar' and 'the gallery' , and downstairs the large 'backroom' and also the intimate 'wine room'.

Food Costs
Cocktail menu - $22 p/head upstairs, $18 p/head downstairs
Sit down dinner - $30 to $60 p/head depending on your requirements
Platters - $60
The price bracket above depends on whether you have a set menu or a menu where there is choice available to your guests. This can be further discussed when you have a chance to look things over.

Beverage Cost
House package, which consists of sparkling wine, Hardys premium red and white wines, Cascade premium and light beer, and soft drinks.
The cost of the package is $35 p/head for four-hour duration.
This allows for unlimited consumption for the nominated time period.
Alternatively, you can go on a consumption basis from our extensive beverage range.

Gallery profile
Dante's Upstairs Gallery is an independent exhibiting space that offers a year round program of curated exhibitions as well as select group and solo exhibitions.

Catering primarily to the needs of artists wishing to exhibit their work in a professional gallery environment. Dante's Upstairs Gallery is not restrained by commercial or ideological agendas. It offers a diverse range of contemporary art and embraces the polarities between the radical and the mainstream, the establishment and the fringe, the orthodox and the truly experimental.

The gallery also hosts events and performances timed to coincide with Melbourne's multitude of arts and cultural festivals.

The gallery is also complimented by two adjoining and lavishly appointed function rooms and bars which provide a counterpoint to and respite from the formality of the gallery space. These rooms are used for exhibition opening functions as well as for hosting arts related events.
